Portal Plus Proximity Readers
A range of standard EM, HID and Mifare proximity readers are available for the Portal Plus access control system. Readers are either self contained or panel mountable within the 4000 series, VR4K series, VR120 series and standard vandal resistant series.
The EM and HID range of proximity readers use 26 bit Wiegand communication protocol with EM4100 compatibility and 125kHz operating frequency. The range of Mifare proximity readers use the Wiegand communication protocoll. These readers will operate with Mifare Classic, Ultralight and Desfire compatible cards and operate at 13.56MHz frequency.
The various readers available all operate on 12Vdc supplied from the Portal Plus controller (EWSi controller) and are low current consumption proximity readers. All are programmable via the PROS CS software.
