Overview of the Axis Power over Ethernet Midspan (8-port) 5012-002/3

The Axis Power over Ethernet midspan is able to support up to 8 Axis IP cameras, providing power and network connectivity using a single cat5 cable, without the need for an additional power supply. The midspan is useful for providing power to cameras in areas where traditional power supplies such as plug sockets may be unavailable or difficult to install.

Note: for IP cameras without PoE support, a separate splitter is required
