DP721R - 700 Series Conventional Optical Smoke Detector w/ Relay Output
Description
The DP721R is an optical smoke detector with field exchangeable optical chamber and a built in potential free relay for local switching applications. The detector detects the presence of smoke in the environment using the Tyndall Effect, by light scarring measurement in an optical chamber.
700 Series detectors continually monitor their own sensitivity and operational status. Once a day they perform a full diagnostic test that includes dynamically testing the sensing chamber and internal electronics. Any abnormal statuses are reported locally and to the panel.
Automatic self diagnostics: Dynamic full detector and sensitivity test
- Manual self diagnostic with visual sensitivity indication
- Field sensitivity testing without external meters
- Field exchangeable and disposable optical chamber
- High false alarm immunity
- Floating background with drift compensation
- Separate fire and fault LED
- 12 - 24 VDC operation
- Polarity insensitive
- Full range: optical, heat and optical/heat multi criteria sensor
- EN54 approved and CPR certified
